Day 1 – Arrival in Rovaniemi & Arctic Welcome

In the evening, enjoy a cosy welcome dinner featuring traditional Finnish Arctic cuisine and a briefing from your host about the week’s winter experiences and Northern Lights opportunities.

Day 2 – Snow Activities & Aurora Borealis Intro

After breakfast, embark on your first Arctic activities — options may include a snowshoe walk through pine forests, a gentle cross-country ski session, or a scenic dog sled ride through snowy trails. The afternoon is a good time to relax at your lodge or explore local cafés. As night falls, head out with your guide for your first **Northern Lights hunt**, venturing away from city lights to a dark countryside spot where warm drinks and blankets await beneath the starry Arctic sky.

Day 3 – Reindeer Sleigh Ride & Cultural Experience

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before visiting a reindeer farm for a gentle sleigh ride across the snowy landscape, a classic Finnish Lapland experience. Learn about indigenous Sámi culture and reindeer herding traditions from local hosts before returning to Rovaniemi for lunch. The evening offers another dedicated aurora-watching excursion with your guide — this time to a carefully selected location based on weather and aurora forecasts to maximise your chance of sightings.

Day 4 – Ice Adventures & Forest Exploration

Today’s winter experience includes an optional **ice or snow adventure** such as visiting a frozen lake for ice fishing, trying a snowmobile safari into the wilderness, or exploring a snow/ice hotel or sculpture site if available in the season. In the later afternoon, return to your lodge and enjoy a sauna session — an essential part of Finnish winter culture. After dinner, make the most of your Arctic setting with another aurora outing or relaxed spotlighting from a wilderness vantage point.

Day 5 – Husky Safari & Evening Aurora Camp

After breakfast, enjoy an unforgettable **husky safari**. Meet a team of eager sled dogs, learn about sled dog culture, and glide through pristine Arctic forests together. After a warm lunch, take some leisure time back at the hotel before joining an **Aurora Camp** in the evening — a specially organised northern lights viewing experience with campfires and hot beverages in a remote spot chosen for minimal light pollution and high aurora potential.

Day 6 – Cultural Immersion & Final Northern Lights Chase

Today is a mix of culture and nature. Visit local attractions such as an Arctic museum or cultural centre where you’ll learn about Lapland’s history, indigenous traditions, and winter ecology. Spend the afternoon at leisure — perhaps browsing winter markets or enjoying the lodge’s facilities. In the evening, set out for your final **Northern Lights chase** with your guide, applying all the insights from earlier nights to maximise your chance of seeing the aurora dance above the Arctic landscape.

Day 7 – Departure from Rovaniemi

After breakfast and check-out, enjoy one last serene moment in snowy Lapland before your private transfer to Rovaniemi Airport for your onward journey. Leave with treasured memories of Arctic experiences, husky trails, reindeer sleigh rides, and, hopefully, multiple sightings of the spectacular Northern Lights.
